• Audio processing is performed locally whenever possible.
• Your ASR transcripts and knowledge cards are stored locally.
• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not use your learning data for advertising.
• Our cloud services only process the minimum information required for account management, payments, and AI requests.

2.1 Account Information

To provide account and subscription services, TryFluentia supports authentication through third-party authentication providers.

We may collect:

• Email address
• Account identifier
• Authentication information required to manage your account

We do not store your third-party authentication passwords.

TryFluentia uses a local-first data model.

The following information is stored locally on your Windows device:

• Learning history
• Vocabulary records
• Knowledge cards
• AI-generated learning notes
• Learning progress
• User preferences
• ASR transcripts generated during learning sessions

This data is not automatically uploaded to our servers.

You control your local learning database.

TryFluentia allows users to learn languages from third-party online video content.

During learning sessions, TryFluentia may capture system audio output from your computer.

System audio may include:

• Audio from online videos
• Educational content played by the user
• Other audio selected by the user for language learning

Important:

• TryFluentia does not access your microphone.
• TryFluentia does not record your voice.
• TryFluentia does not collect private conversations.
• Audio processing is performed locally on your device.

Captured audio and ASR results are stored locally.

Speech recognition is performed locally on your Windows device.

The Application processes system audio locally to generate:

• Speech-to-text transcripts
• Sentence segmentation
• Language learning analysis data

Audio recordings and ASR outputs are not permanently stored on our cloud servers.

TryFluentia uses large language models to provide:

• Sentence explanations
• Vocabulary analysis
• Grammar explanations
• Cultural context
• AI learning assistance

Some AI features require sending limited text information to AI infrastructure providers.

Information sent may include:

• Selected transcript segments
• User-selected sentences
• Learning questions
• Context required for generating AI responses

We do not send:

• Your complete local database
• Your complete learning history
• Your stored knowledge cards
• Raw audio recordings

TryFluentia cloud services are limited to:

• User authentication
• Subscription management
• Payment processing
• AI model requests

We do not store:

• System audio recordings
• ASR audio data
• Learning history
• Knowledge cards
• Personal learning databases

Subscriptions are processed through our payment provider:

Payment providers process payment information according to their own privacy policies.

TryFluentia does not store your complete payment card information.

TryFluentia uses third-party AI infrastructure providers, including:

DeepInfra

AI providers receive only the information required to generate AI responses.

Your local learning database and audio recordings are not uploaded to AI providers.

TryFluentia does not:

• Record microphone audio.
• Store voice recordings.
• Upload your learning database.
• Sell personal information.
• Use learning data for advertising.
• Train AI models using your private data.

Depending on your location, you may have rights including:

• Accessing your account information.
• Requesting deletion of account information.
• Requesting correction of inaccurate information.

Because learning data is stored locally, you can directly manage or delete your local data.
